Autodesk Revit is building information modeling software for architects, landscape engineers, structural engineers, electromechanical engineers (MEPs), designers and contractors.

Autodesk Revit allows users to design a building, structure, and components in 3D, add comments and write dimensions and labels on the building, its sections, and panels. It also allows access to building information from the model database stored on the project’s server. One of the most important features of the program is the 3D technology and the possibility of simulating the design, seeing it and roaming with it as in the real world. Also, you can calculate the quantities of the elements that you designed very quickly and do all the operations of Tagging and Annotations in a simple and fast way, and the program can be linked to various other programs, including Autocad Export work of blueprints in different formats PDF and DWG, a program that is fully compatible with different disciplines: (architectural – structural – electrical – mechanical) and has a very high ability to make architectural and construction designs, no matter how difficult and complex they are and no matter how strange their form.

The original software was developed by Charles River Software, founded in 1997, then renamed Revit Technology Corporation in 2000, which was acquired by Autodesk in 2002.

In this course you will learn:
