Roles and responsibilities:
As a Journalism Volunteer, you will be responsible for:
Working with a news agency covering news in general in the Middle East and Palestine in particular.
Participate in researching articles and producing diverse content and ideas for online publication.
Proofreading and proofreading of articles.
Submit the work to the editors for participation and approval.
Do a simple keyword research and use our SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
Update website content as often as required.
Prepare well-structured drafts and rehearsals using content management systems.
Spell-check and edit participating articles before publishing.
The criteria to apply for volunteering must possess:
A bachelor’s degree in journalism, or a related field, or you are currently seeking to obtain.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of media production and communication.
Good working and responsive skills under pressure with strict lead time.
Fast and enthusiastic learner.
Skills to respond to criticism and accept constructive criticism.
Time management skills, inquisitive, with strength of superb observation, follow-up and reporting skills.
